The European Center for Language Studies – Miranta Merkouri continued in 2009-2010 its sponsorship to the “Children’s Smile” organisation with lessons and other services desiring in this manner to acknowledge the serious social work conducted by this organisation.
In 2002, the European Center for Language Studies – Miranta Merkouri, in the context of its social activities, offered to the “Children’s Smile” organisation eight (8) personal computers, so as to contribute in its own way to the educational and social development of the children who are active in this organisation.
In 1999, the European Center for Language Studies – Miranta Merkouri in an effort to support the athletic activities of the city of Pirgos, in any way it can, became the sponsor of sport uniforms for the swimming team “Poseidon” in Pirgos.
For 1998, it became the sponsor of sport uniforms for the woman’s basketball team for the “Ifitos” Athletic Club of Pirgos
The European Center for Language Studies – Miranta Merkouri is an achievement inspired by Miranta Merkouri, who after lengthy studies and a professional career, domestically and abroad, returns dynamically in 1991 to the place of her descent, Pirgos of the Ilia prefecture, to fulfill her goals: to offer her knowledge and extensive experience in the field of foreign language education.
